Travel Packages to Costa Rica

 

Day 1. Arrival San Jose, Costa Rica Arrive at Juan Santa Maria International Airport. You will be picked up and driven to your hotel in the capital city of San Jose.

Stay: 3 nights in San Jose

Hotel: Sleep Inn or similar.

Room: Standard. Include daily buffet breakfast.

 

Day 2. San Jose, Costa Rica. One Day Tour: La Paz Waterfalls, Coffee Plantation, Butterfly Farm

Departure: 06:20 am approx 

Return: 5:30pm approx. 

Tour Description To get to the different attractions included during this excursion we will drive by the city of Alajuela passing by the Agriculture Monument, the Monument to Juan Santamaria and the famous Mango Park.

As we ascend towards the Poas Volcano we will notice the change in temperature and vegetation; we will see coffee plantations as well as fern, flower and strawberry farms along the way, creating a beautiful landscape. The Poas Volcano remains closed by the government in a preventive manner. This tour covers the area near it, but do not visit the volcano.

We will visit Doka Coffee Estate for a delicious breakfast and a coffee tour, in an actual coffee plantation where we will learn about the ancient techniques used by the experts to produce one of the best coffees in Costa Rica. Learn about the careful process involved on the cultivation, harvesting and roasting of the Golden Bean.

Following, we will continue to La Paz Waterfall Garden for lunch and tour. On arrival to the La Paz, we will walk through a trail, leading to a spectacular waterfall in the middle of the rainforest. Inside the park we will also visit the hummingbird gallery, the serpentarium, the bird house, the butterfly garden and the frog’s exhibit.

Day 3. One Day Tour. Arenal + Tabacon Hot Springs Spa

Arenal Volcano is located on the plains of San Carlos, famous for the beauty of its landscape, the picturesque villages and its special climate. The Arenal Volcano is magnificent, drawing attention to its powerful explosions of ash and lava which appear as multi colored fireworks at night, making Arenal one of the most active volcanoes in the Americas. And if this wasn’t enough, just in front of the volcano, so close that you can feel the colossus vibrate, we will visit the most beautiful gardens with hot springs that complete the fascinating night of natural wonders. After dinner, on the way back to San Jose, you will understand why this has become one of the most popular tours in Costa Rica. During this tour we also visit Sarchi well known for the beauty of the handcrafts that they produce.

Day 4. Tortuga Island Tour

Costa Rica is famous for its romantic day cruises to its exotic Pacific Islands in the Gulf of Nicoya. After a comfortable ride to the Pacific coast, you will board a luxurious yacht for the Pacific Island Adventure. Our final destination, Tortuga Island, famous for its pristine white sand beaches and crystal clear water that give us the opportunity to enjoy different activities. A delicious seafood buffet will be served on the beach. You will not want to miss this island paradise adventure. Breakfast, lunch and snacks are included.
